I am currently pursuing a Master of Science in Marketing at Baruch College located in New York City. Prior to this, I obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing, accompanied by a minor in International Business, from Georgia State University in Atlanta.

Internships

Retail Marketing Internship at Lavazza

Throughout my internship, I played a key role in supporting the execution of shopper programs by overseeing both digital and in-store marketing tactics.

Tasks:

  • Monitored performance metrics and optimized recommendations through sponsored search marketing, in collaboration with external agencies.

  • Contributed to agency management efforts by conducting thorough campaign performance reviews, analyzing reports, overseeing assets, and participating in the planning for the year 2024, while exploring new capabilities from vendors.

  • Executed product assets, collaborating with the graphic design team to create cross-functional marketing materials

  • Developed a consumer research survey brief to guide decision-making.

Marketing Management Internship at Georgia State University Athletics

An in-class internship working alongside the Georgia State University athletic department in one of the fastest-growing industries within marketing entertainment, NIL Agreements. I will be working with my assigned athlete and helping them market their Name, Image, and Likeness.

Tasks:

  • Spearheaded the development of personal brand portfolios in NIL sector of entertainment marketing, in collaboration with the GSU Athletic Department and a dedicated team.

  • Played a pivotal role in forming compelling athletic identities to enhance the exposure, visibility, and growth of student-athlete brands.

  • Proactively promoted fan engagement and facilitated multiple monetization opportunities by crafting shareable portfolio content and creating diverse consumer interfaces, all strategically designed to promote student-athletes and foster valuable business partnerships.

Marketing Development Internship at Grady Health Foundation

Tasks:

  • Conducted situational analysis and competitive category review to evaluate trends, promotional elements, and brand positioning of current Foundation offerings and strategy.

  • Developed a marketing plan for the promotion and engagement of former Grady Doctors (Grady Babies etc.,.) to drive consumer demand across all market segments.

  • Worked directly for Joselyn Baker, President of the Foundation. Grady is the 5th largest hospital system in the country and the largest hospital in the Southeast portion of the United States

Awards & Recognitions

  • The Montford Point Marine Association (MPMA) Scholarship is a financial award program aimed at supporting the educational pursuits of deserving individuals, particularly those with a connection to the Montford Point Marines.

    The scholarship program is typically open to eligible high school seniors, undergraduate students, and graduate students who demonstrate academic achievement, leadership qualities, and a commitment to community service.

  • The HOPE Scholarship is a prominent financial aid program in the state of Georgia, designed to provide merit-based assistance to eligible students pursuing higher education at eligible public and private colleges and universities within the state.

  • 3rd Place Overall:

    The CIBER International Business Case Competition is an event that brings together students from universities around the world to participate in a challenging and competitive case study competition focused on international business.

  • Students who have earned the Global Scholar Distinction are recognized by Georgia State University's Office of International Initiatives and the Atlanta Global Studies Center for their development of global competence: The skills, knowledge and awareness that enhance the ability to succeed in a global environment. Global Scholars are able to communicate across cultures, think critically about the world, and adapt to new and unfamiliar situations.

This experience included several company visits and cultural activities.
